Cabo San Lucas, Baja California / Mexico
Cabo San Lucas is located in the far south of Baja California and is now Mexico's fourth largest seaside resort. The coastline is dominated by chic hotels and palm-lined promenades, on which it is similarly lively as in the party strongholds in the cooler north. The Baja California is one of the longest peninsulas in the world.
The Cabo San Lucas region is a region of spectacular rock formations and beautiful beaches, shaped by the surf landscape of gates and arches. In the numerous markets the locals offer their colorful goods. The beautiful white sand beaches and the deep blue sea lure to swimming and snorkeling. Cabo San Lucas is a modern city with elegant shops, restaurants and bars (Hard Rock Cafe, Planet Hollywood, etc.). Los Cabos is also known for its rock formation called El Arco, where the Pacific Ocean meets the warm waters of the Cortes Sea.
