Cape Leveque / Australia
The Cape Leveque lies at the head of the Australian Dampier Peninsula, located 220 kilometers north of Broome. It has belonged for several years to the Bardi Aborigines. One handed them the land on the condition that they would use the area for a tourism project. In the following years the site of Kooljaman was built.
The landscape at Cape Leveque, with its snow-white beaches, the red rocks and the blue ocean with its colorful underwater world is breathtaking. Explore the surrounding bushland, swing your fishing rod or go aboard a boat in search for the many whales in the nearby coastal waters. Kooljaman offers a remarkably wide range of leisure activities where all gets their money's worth. Also learn on site more about the exciting aboriginal culture and take part in one of the traditional ceremonies.
