Lunow / Germany
The village of Lunow is located on the beautiful Oder northeast of Berlinon the edge of the Uckermark. The port is located centrally and realeases the the visitor to a romantic hamlet.
South of the harbor is the thatched pipe house that like the village itself has a long history. In the center of the village is the town church with a baptismal font from the 16th century. In a residential building near the church is a legendary stone with a chiselled cross can be seen, whose origin is still not fully understood today. The angels on the cemetery site are supposed to have once expressed gratitude that the place got off lightly in the time of cholera.
And since the village is very low, it is surrounded by wooded hills, which are perfectly suited for a little walk. Then you can feast at one of the inns of the village.
