Måløy / Norway
Måløy is the capital of the central Norwegian municipality of Vågsøy. The about 6,300 residents of the community, which is home to Norway's second largest fishing port, live exclusively from fishing.
The "musical" attraction of Måløy is the 1,224-meter-long bridge across Ulvesund: if the wind blows from a certain direction, it makes a high C sound. There is also the interesting fishing museum at the port of Måløy, such as the "Kannenstein", a very strikingly shaped rock, on a beach 10 km north of the town.
