Port d’Ehoala / Madagascar
Port d'Ehoala is a new port built in 2009 near the town of Tolagnaro, in the southeast of the island of Madagascar. The new port is of great importance for the economy as well as tourism. Tolagnaro itself was founded in 1643 by the French East Indies Company under the name 'Fort Dauphin' in honor of the Crown Prince and later King Louis XIV.
Take an exciting trip from Tolagnaro to the nearby Andohahela National Park. A variety of different biotopes and landscapes make a hike a truly extraordinary and varied experience. The animal world is not less diverse: the park is known for its 15 different species of lemurs.
