Willis Island / Australia
Willis Island is the largest and only permanently inhabited of the Coral Sea Islands, a number of small tropical islands and reefs, located in the Coral Sea, northeast of the Australian mainland.
On the island there is a weather station, which was founded in 1921 and is inhabited by four people. During a trip you have the possibility to visit some important nesting sites for different bird species and turtles. Its white sand beaches and clear blue seawater make Willis Island a spot of untouched paradise on earth.
