Fraser Island / Australia
Fraser Island is the largest sand island in the world, it offers several lakes, Lake McKenzie, Lake Butterfly as well the wreck of T.S.S. Maheno.
Mostly of the jetty of the Kingfisher Bay Resort on the west coast of the island is used for docking.
The entire island is a national park with up to 240-m-high sand dunes covered with tropical rainforest - correspondingly rich is the flora and fauna.
Fraser Island means the national language of the Aborigines "paradise".
