Ocho Rios ( "Eight Rivers") is a city on the north coast of Jamaica.
However, only three, instead of the eight river brooks, according to the name, flow into the Ocho Rios. Ocho Rios is a port for cruise ships that bring about 400,000 tourists every year. In Ocho Rios live about 10,000 people.
The island is located south of Cuba and west of Haiti. It is the third largest island of the Great Antilles.
The Dunn's River Falls, the waterfalls in Ocho Rios, you should roam through during a shore excursion. They are part of Dunn's River Falls & Park. For adventurers rafting on the White River is an experience. You can wonderfully relax on the fine powdered sugar beach or the tropical Shaw Park Botanical Garden and visit the Coyaba Park, a paradise garden over Ocho Rios. Local handicraft shops and several shopping malls round up the offer for tourists.
