Arrecife is de belangrijkste haven van Lanzarote. De zwarte zandstranden uit lavagesteente zijn het symbool van Lanzarote. Hier waait vooral in de zomer een krachtige passaatwind die surfers naar Arrecife lokt.
"El Puerto", de haven, biedt een heerlijke blik op Baecelona en de boulevard "Paseo de Colón".
Barcelona, het belangrijkse economische centrum van Catalonië, is met zijn historische bouwwerken van het Gotische tijdperk tot aan de Middeleeuwen en met moderne, innovatieve architectuur zeer indrukwekkend. Onafscheidelijk met de stad is de naam van de kunstenaar Antoni Gaudi: De kerk "Sagrada Familia" is het symbool van Barcelona. De fassade werd van Gaudi ontworpen.
De boulevard "La Rambla", met talrijke terrassen, restaurants, winkels en bars is bij dag en nacht een bezoek waard.

Casablanca is het belangrijkste handels- en industriecentrum van Marokko, de grootste haven van Noord-Afrika en met ongeveer 1,2 miljoen inwoners de grootste stad. Casablanca is vandaag de dag een moderne grootstad met weinig oude bouwwerken, beïnvloed door het Franse kolonialisme - voorzien van breede boulevards en Frans geïnspireerde stadswoningen uit de jaren 30 en 40, aangevuld door hoge flatgebouwen en gebouwen in de nieuw-Oriëntaalse stijl.
Tot de bezienswaardigheden in en rondom Funchal tellen de bloemen-, groenten- en vismarkten en Monte, waar zich de begraafplaats van de laatste Oosterijkse Keizer Karl von Habsburg bevindt. De rit met de toboggan (slee) van Monte naar Livramento is net zo aan te bevelen als een bezoek aan de botanische tuin.
De stad Las Palmas de Gran Canaria ligt op Gran Canaria wat een Canarisch eiland is. Het is in bezit van de op één na grootste Atlantische haven ter wereld. Dienovereenkomstig wordt deze stad ook weergegeven.
Lissabon, de natuurlijke haven aan de Taag (Tejo) en niet ver van de Atlantische Oceaan, is de hoofdstad van Portugal en in ieder geval een reis waard. De mediterrane stad is herkenbaar door zijn wat ruwe, Atlantische klimaat en zijn aparte charme.
Marrakech in Marokko is de hoofdstad van de gelijknamige provincie, gelegen in de vruchtbare vlakte van Haouz aan de voet van de Hoge Atlas. Deze stad telt net als Meknès, Rabat en Fès tot de zogenaamde koningssteden. Marrakech is een betekenisvolle handelsstad en landelijk gezien een belangrijk verkeersknooppunt. Via een spoorwegverbinding is de stad met de havenstad Safi aan de Atlantische Oceaan verbonden. Van economisch belang is naast de handel, de productie van tapijten en het verwerken van landbouwproducten vooral het toerisme. De stad wordt omgeven van een ca. 150 kwadraatkilometer groot oasegebied, waar op grote vlaktes vooral dadelpalmen groeien. Deze oasen werden vroeger door onderaardse kanalen van water voorzien, vandaag de dag komt het grootste deel van het water uit de rivieren van de Hoge Atlas. In de buurt van Marrakech wordt op kleine schaal lood-zink- en kopererts gewonnen.
