Oldenburg / Germany

Oldenburg is a city in Lower Saxony between Bremen and the Dutch city of Groningen. Oldenburg is connected to the German inland waterway network via the coastal channel that connects the Weser and Ems. With 1.6 million tonnes, the port of Oldenburg is the most important inland port of Lower Saxony. Through the urban area flow two rivers, the Hunte and the Haaren.
