In 2020, we can expect an absolute highlight, the latest addition to the Carnival fleet: The Mardi Gras. Carnival Cruise Line's largest passenger ship (5,200 passengers) is the first full-service LNG-powered cruise liner in the world, and is not without reason called "Mardi Gras": With original Mardi Gras began in 1972 the success story of Carnival Cruise Line. The new Mardi Gras closes the 48-year-old circle of company history, when it sails out in August 2020 as the 28th ship of the fleet. This FUN ship also offers a wide variety of on-board activities. However, the ultimate Bolt ™ Ultimate Sea Coaster will be particularly exciting - being the first deep-sea coaster in the world to be used on the Mardi Gras, some 50 meters above sea level. However, Carnival Cruise Line also ventures as high with its acclaimed Restaurant Concept, such as the Italian Cucina del Capitano, the Guy's Burger Joint and a host of other international culinary offerings. This includes Emeril's Bistro 1396 ™ at Mardi Gras, for which the top chef has added Creole cuisine to the menu.
