What a day! Your ship, the Nordlys, has reached Tromsø in the Aurora Borealis ring. Romantic feelings, pride and the images of the day send you to the Explorer Lounge for a glass of wine. In the morning, after a sumptuous salmon breakfast at the Torget Restaurant you enjoy a shore excursion with the expedition team. In the afternoon, the highlight - together with your loved ones you take pictures of the fantastic northern lights from the outer deck.
The ship of the Hurtigruten cruise line, Nordlys, which translates as "northern lights" means, in addition to a restaurant and bistro, an observation and panorama salon and a fitness room with sauna. In the style of the astronomical event, which lends the ship its name, the rooms are similarly named after stars and the like.
The Nordlys modernized in 2019 has 92 cabins, a bakery and bars and lounges. The expedition team cares for the passengers with knowledge and adventures ashore. Dreamy polar ambience is guaranteed by the spectacular Jacuzzi on the outer deck.
Up to 590 passengers can fit on the MS Nordlys.
