A 675 hp engine gives the Aria a top speed of 12 knots, with the normal cruising speed being a comfortable 8 to 9 knots - after all, you should be able to enjoy the Adriatic and its islands in peace. After three years, Jure replaced his son Marin at the helm of the Aria, while Marin took care of the family's next new ship - namely the "MY Alpha", which has been part of the fleet since 2020. The name "Aria" does not come from the aria in the opera or from the Italian word for air, but stands for "weather" in the Dalmatian dialect. The MS Aria will be extensively renovated for the 2025 season and will be upgraded to the deluxe category. It will then only have 17 cabins for a maximum of 36 passengers.
