Built in 2004, the Maček is not only one of the most comfortable ships in the fleet, but is also a successful symbiosis of steel and wood. Although the hull is made of steel, the superstructure is almost entirely made of wood, thus retaining the flair and comfort of a traditional wooden ship. For thirteen years, the Maček was well looked after in the hands of Captain Teo Vuković from Krilo Jesenice.
