Captain Patricio Vižintin from Tar near Poreč has been connected to the sea and seafaring since childhood. At just six years old, he started laying fishing nets with his father Mario in the Bay of Tar (Tarska Vala) - first in a rowing boat, later in a motorboat. A few years later, Mario bought a larger ship, with which the two of them took day cruises for holidaymakers. At the age of 15, Patricio had already passed his first nautical exams and thus had his seaman's book in his pocket. Just five years later, in 2003, he obtained his captain's license. In 2018, he decided to buy the MS Morena and to take one-week cruises in the future, with Mario still supporting him at the helm while his partner Iva looks after the well-being of the guests. As of summer 2023, the Morena will not only strengthen the fleet, but will also take over the new routes from Poreč, which were planned together with Patricio. In the pre- and post-season, guests will discover the Istrian peninsula by bike, while in high season the bathing routes lead not only around Istria, but also to the islands of Cres and Lošinj.
