After Jure Tomaš had installed a new engine in his Planka, he set about completely rebuilding his ship a few years ago. Everything was demolished - the saloon, the cabins and the deck. When only the hull was left, Jure set to work with experienced shipbuilders - they built new cabins, most of them on deck, all with shower/toilet and individually adjustable air conditioning. The Planka has long been one of the most popular medium-sized wooden ships in the fleet, and on a few dates it sets sail especially for nudists. Although the family's new ship - the motor sailor MS Aria - set off on its maiden voyage in early summer 2016, Jure has remained loyal to his Planka so far, while his son Marin steered the Aria.
